Is my data safe?

Yes. MyLifeInfo does not store your data on any cloud server. Everything is saved locally in your browser (LocalStorage). This means only someone with access to your device can see it.

What happens if I clear my browser history?

Since data is stored in LocalStorage, clearing your browser's site data/cache will delete your information. We recommend printing your summary or exporting crucial details regularly.

Is this a legal will?

No. MyLifeInfo is an organizational tool, not a legal service. Any instructions you leave here regarding asset distribution may not be legally binding. Please consult a lawyer for a formal Will.

Can I share this with my family?

Because data is local to your device, you cannot 'share' a link. You must either show them on your device, print the summary page, or manually copy the information to a shared secure location.

Is it free?

Yes, MyLifeInfo is completely free to use for individuals and families.

Why do I need this if I have a phone contact list?

Phone contacts don't provide context like medical history, blood type, or specific instructions for after an accident. MyLifeInfo consolidates all this critical context in one place.

Can I save passwords here?

We strongly advise AGAINST saving sensitive passwords, PINs, or full credit card numbers here. Use a dedicated Password Manager for that. Use this tool only for reference information (e.g., 'Bank Account at HDFC').
